Law enforcement looking for alleged skate park vandals in Smithfield

SMITHFIELD CITY — Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help identifying two individuals suspected of vandalizing the Smithfield City skate park.

The Smithfield City Police Department posted several security camera photos of the suspects. They appear to be males, both wearing hoodies. One is wearing a gray ball cap and carrying a black backpack. The other is wearing a black beanie and glasses, and riding a blue dirt bike.

The photos show one of the suspects carrying a paint can and spraying graffiti on some of the rails.

The vandalism is believed to have occurred early on the morning of July 21, around 4:30 a.m.

The amount of damage to the park was not released.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identities is asked to contact law enforcement.
