Lynden Clell Forsberg

July 14, 1942 – August 29, 2022 (age 80)

Lynden Clell Forsberg 80, passed away at his home August 29, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lynn was born July 14, 1942 in Logan Utah the son of LeRoy Forsberg and Edna Howell Forsberg. He married the love of his life Linda Luthy September 1, 1962. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple.

He served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964. Lynn started working for EA Miller Beef packing plant in Hyrum, Utah June 29, 1964. He worked in the production department for many years, rising to supervisor level. He served his last 20 years as a water treatment operator, retiring from the JBS Swift beef packing plant in Hyrum July 2, 2010.

Lynn took great pride in all he did. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing with family and friends. He was a loyal friend to all.

Survivors include his wife Linda of Paradise, Utah and son Dewayne of Logan, Utah. Two brothers and one sister. Wilford (Sherrie) Forsberg South Jordan, Utah. Gene (Gayle) Forsberg Paradase, Utah. Carlene (Lynnis) Parkinson Avon, Utah.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and brother Denzil.

A viewing will be at the Paradise 4th ward September 2, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:30 with the funeral service to follow at 12:00. Address for Paradise 4th ward is 155 E 9400 S Paradise, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the Huntsman Cancer Research in Salt Lake City, Utah.
