Annual Golf ‘n Ribs fundraising event scheduled for June 15 at Logan Country Club

LOGAN – The Logan Rotary Club’s anticipated Golf ‘n Ribs event has been scheduled for Thursday, June 15 at the Logan Country Club. All proceeds from the event raise scholarship funds for area high school students attending Utah State University and for students attending Bridgerland Technical College. It also raises funds to provide dictionaries for every 3rd grader in Cache and Rich counties, a project that has been ongoing by the club since 2004. Rotary club members visit every 3rd grade class in the two counties and hand deliver students their own personal dictionary.

Dinner will feature Floyd Jarvis’s famous Dry Rub Smoked Ribs. Golf is a “Shotgun Start” at 1 p.m. and the cost is $400 per foursome or $125 per person. The cost includes golf, cart, and dinner. For those wishing to only pay for the rib dinner, the cost is $35. A social hour begins at 5 p.m. along with a silent auction, with the famous dry rub rib dinner expected to start at 6 p.m. (depending on how well the ribs cooperate).
