LOGAN – Becker’s Hospital Review, a go-to source for America’s healthcare decision-makers, has named Intermountain Logan Regional CEO Brandon McBride to its list of “Community Hospital CEOs to Know” in 2023.
McBride, who has been with Intermountain for 15 years, says it is a recognition shared by the entire staff.
“This is a direct reflection of the incredible physicians and the nurses and the caregivers that we have at Logan Regional Hospital that provide safe, high quality care day-in and day-out to our communities,” McBride says.
McBride is one of 107 community hospital CEOs on Becker’s list.
When he assumed the leadership at Logan Regional, were there many changes needed?
“No. I think it was carrying on the legacy of excellence that we’ve had here for many, many decades,” McBride exclaims. “And making sure that that focus was in place.”
He explains his top responsibility at the hospital.
“It’s setting the culture. It’s setting the strategic direction and the culture of what we want to be,” he adds, “and what we want to accomplish for our community and for the care we want to deliver to our patients.”
Prior to joining Intermountain, McBride was the Divisional Administrator for the Department of Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Utah State University and an MBA and MHA at the University of Minnesota.
